Who is this Red Sox Fan?

I'm a lifelong Yankee fan (born in '49 and Fordham Grad ... went to way too may games instead of class during my college years). This is a one-time super need question! And don't even want to talk about the last three games. Who is the guy who sits in the front row , directly behind home plate, at every game. Guy is about 62 years old, has Robert Redford hair, looks like Ted Koppel, never shows any emotion, and never wears any Sox gear. But he's definitely a true fan, rain or shine until the last out.  Always see him when the Yankees are on TV. Then started checking out the Fox and ESPN games when Sox were on TV ... and guy is always there. Never with a female companion, but always there. Last night was one of the very , very few times he had a tie on. Who is he? Some corp exec that goes to every game as an account rep?  A trust fund fan? Has the best seat in the Park so the season has to be  expensive. I hate the Sox, I hate Belecheat, I hate Ortiz (the steroid man) but admire this guy for his loyalty. But who is he? Watch any game and you'll see this guy. By the way, get rid of that young guy who also goes to every game but spends the entire time talking on his cell phone... sits about three rows behind Robert Koppel).

You realize you could've asked on the Red Sox blog (OverTheMonster), right?

I can’t figure out why people post stuff like this on the SBN-related material blog.

Good job though, GB.
