SB Nation is Proud to Sponsor Kick! at SXSW 2010

Kick-sxsw_medium
Will you be in Austin during this year's SXSW? Come out and join us for a rousing game of kickball and some breakfast tacos. Veteran blogger Anil Dash started Kick! in 2002 as a way for South by Southwest Interactive attendees to meet each other and get some exercise. And with the conference growing by leaps and bounds, we think these kinds of activities are more important than ever.

SB Nation is proud to sponsor this year's game, on Saturday March 13th, 10:30am at Palm Playground behind the convention center. We'll bring equipment, coffee, breakfast tacos and t-shirts. Whether you're attending SXSW or just staying in the Austin area, we hope you'll come on out and join us for a good time. We're thinking of adding some twists to traditional kickball rules to keep things interesting.

Whether you're looking to play or just to socialize, we hope you'll come join us. Trei Brundrett and I will be on hand to help Anil keep the games going, and we'd love to talk with anyone who can make it!

Great idea! Kickball is super popular up here in PDX, Oregon, and it’s a mellow sport for a music festival. I hope this idea spreads to more festivals.

I've been doing some interviews for Spinner of some of the bands

Everyone should check out ‘Crew54’(RAP), ‘The Non’(Alt-Rock) and ‘San Saba County’(Alt-Country)

All three are very good groups in their genres and good guys to talk with as well.

I guess I'm just a worrier, that's why my friends call me whiskers

Yo SBNation Brother

Send me all you got on this, kickball is right up Uncommon Sportsman’s alley.

@the Uncommon Denominator – you stop by, too!

Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? ◔ヮ◔
