Apparently, you can never have too much money when you’re a star pitcher.
San Franciso Giants starter, Tim Lincecum, has asked for a ton of money in salary arbitration.
The Giants offered the youngster a record number of $17 million, that he counter-offered with a much higher record-setting number of $21.5 million in salary arbitration.
The $17 million dollar figure is the highest ever offered to a player for less than six years of service time.I think he's just throwing out a huge number to see how much he can milk out of the franchise.
