Khan vs Molina live stream : This Saturday night on December 15th, Golden Boy Promotions is putting on one of their better cards on Showtime with former IBF/WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (26-3, 18 KO’s) facing Carlos Molina (17-0, 7 KO’s), heavyweight prospect Deontay Wilder (25-0, 25 KO’s) fighting the talented Kevlin Price (13-0, 6 KO’s), IBF bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz (22-0-1, 13 KO’s) fighting Alberto Guevara (16-0, 6 KO’s), junior middleweight Alfredo Angulo (21-2, 18 KO’s) making another tune-up fight against Jorge Silva (19-2-2, 15 Kos) and many, many more at the Sports Arena, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
I really like this card a lot, although I must admit the card is pretty much mismatches as far as the eye can see, but it should be interesting seeing how Khan does against this little guy that Golden Boy has found for him to turn his career around. It’s like a science experiment where they’re guessing everything will go right with their fighter, but the way Khan was knocked out in his last fight you can’t really tell. If Khan blows it here against this little fighter, then Golden Boy is going to need to think very hard about cutting their losses with Khan and releasing him from their contract.
You can’t keep a guy that can’t get past guys like Molina, Lamont Peterson, Breidis Prescott and Danny Garcia. Before Khan was beaten by Peterson and Garcia, Golden Boy picked out guys that were perfect for Khan, like Paulie Malignaggi, a washed up Zab Judah and a light hitting Paul McCloskey. However, Khan can’t revisit thought fights, and there are really not too many soft targets for Golden Boy to find for Khan at 140 or 147. It’s sink or swim now for Khan.
Khan is going to have a big target on his head on Saturday night because Molina knows this is his big chance and he knows he’s got a guy with a weak chin just begging punched. All Molina has to do is tap that chin as hard as he can and he’ll have Khan staggering around the ring like Bambi on ice
