I love stories like this.  It's truly what SB Nation is all about.  And that's bringing the fans closer to their favorite team.  It's great to read about someone getting that close to one of their favorite players on their favorite team.

Best part? Peavy dropped the little bit that the Sox were trying to acquire Adrian Gonzalez.

Halos Heaven Minor League Expert Interviewed at Orange County Register

Halos Heaven, SB Nation's Angels community, has a minor league expert named Ryan Ghan who updates the Angels faithful constantly on the state of their minor league team.  The Orange County Register turned to Ghan to discuss the state of all things Angels minor leagues.

Real Salt Lake Wins MLS Championship; RSL Soapbox Blogger There for the Glory

Sure it's disappointing whenever something as big as a championship in soccer comes down to PKs.  But that's exactly what happened last night for the MLS crown with Real Salt Lake taking the championship.  We launched our new Real Salt Lake blog RSL Soapbox earlier this week and wouldn't you know it, we managed to get him into the match.  As you can imagine, the results speak for themselves.  Congratulations to Denzel and RSL on winning it all!

Bolts from the Blue Interviews Chargers Hall of Fame Tight End Kellen Winslow
