Wayne Gretzky's move to Los Angeles back in 1988 paved the way for the NHL in the sunbelt states of America. In some ways then, we have him to thank for the fact that NHL prospect R.J. Boyd is sitting down for an interview with Litter Box Cats, our Florida Panthers community. Boyd is only the second Florida born-and-bred prospect to be drafted by an NHL team and thanks to Gretzky, he has a chance to do it in his home state.
